Food Food Food....
This was a home cooked meal made by my cousin when we had dinner at their house...
it was the first time that i finished a whole fish especially this one... MALAGA....
if you've tried eating a MALAGA, you would know that this fish has a distinct taste that you can differentiate from other fishes... i don't like the taste... I REALLY DON'T!
but during this occassion, the fish looked really good and smelled good as well....
hmmmm... i thought....
this time i'll try the dish...
i got one and LORD HAVE MERCY!! It was the BEST MALAGA i ever tasted....
the spices really sticked to the fish and gosh! the taste that i don't like? its GONE!
all i tasted is the freshness and tastiness of the fish and the herbs...
the TRICK was to put the herbs and STEAM the FISH FIRST!!!
it was already cooked before it was grilled...
the grilling was only for it to have a smoky taste as all grilled food have....
oh well!! i hope they invite us again so we can taste this dish...
